Most paid co-parenting apps charge each parent separately, so the real number is the family total, not the sticker price. In 2026, OurFamilyWizard costs $149–$300 per parent per year — $596–$1,200 for a two-parent family over two years. TalkingParents and AppClose bill per account monthly, and both removed their free tiers in early 2026; 2houses uses family pricing at roughly $170 a year. A two-parent family typically spends $340–$1,200 over two years on the paid apps. GrownUps is free.

Methodology

Per-parent-per-year is the headline plan where one exists; where an app bills per account monthly, the annual figure is twelve times the monthly plan and the range spans the app’s cheapest to dearest tier. Family two-year totals assume both parents subscribe where the app requires it, and one family subscription where pricing is per family. Prices change and vary by region and promotion — treat these as an order-of-magnitude comparison, not a quote, and check the last-verified date above.
